The patent pending Vitrovea® MEGACURC® (pronounced MEGA-KURK) formula represents a quantum leap in JOINT-health supplementation. Formulated by our NCNR researchers, Vitrovea® MEGACURC® uses a clinically researched formula consisting of ingredients which are heavily backed by solid scientific literature to alleviate joint pain and inflammation. MEGACURC® may be your one-stop-solution for Joint pain.
No Glucosamine. No Chondroitin:
While conventional Joint products rely largely on Glucosamine and Chondroitin to solve joint problems, we kept both of these out of the MEGACURC® formula owing to their non-performance in real world users as gathered over several metastudies*.
Research has found ingredients like omega-3 fatty acids, botanicals, plant extracts and certain phytonutrients to possess anti-inflammatory properties that can help alleviate joint pain and inflammation and positively affect overall joint health. The combination of ingredients in Vitrovea® MEGACURC® have been scientifically shown to support:
- Reduced Inflammation
- Reduced Joint Pain
- Joint Lubrication
- Joint Mobility
WHAT IS BOSWELLIA SERRATA AND HOW IS IT BENEFICIAL FOR JOINT HEALTH?
Boswellia Serrata, via its active boswellic acids group, appears to be a novel inhibitory of a pro-inflammatory enzyme called 5-Lipoxygenase and may possess other anti-inflammatory effects. These anti-inflammatory effects have been investigated for their benefits in osteoarthritis (OA), and it appears that oral Boswellia supplements can suppress pain and immobility associated with OA quite significantly with the effects taking as little as a week to occur.
MANY JOINT SUPPLEMENTS CONTAIN BOSWELLIC ACIDS? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOSWELLIC ACIDS AND AKBA?
This is probably the most important question you can ask. The different boswellic acids in the Boswellia plant and their standard concentrations are
- Acetyl-Keto-Boswellic-Acid (AKBA)- 3%
- Acetyl-Beta-Boswellic-Acid- 20% - 30%
- Acetyl-Alpha-Boswellic-Acid- 10-12%
- Other Organic Acids- about 30-40%
- Total 75-85%
As you will notice, while the total boswellic acids make up about 85% of the Boswellia plant, the particular Boswellic Acid known as AKBA (Acetyl-Keto-Boswellic-Acid) makes up < (less than) 3% of the total Boswellic Acids found in the plant.
Of all these Boswellic Acids, AKBA is the only Boswellic Acid, which has been clinically substantiated to provide any real anti-inflammatory properties in various studies. The other Boswellic Acids (which make up 80% of the plant) have NO TANGIBLE joint health benefits.
MEGACURC® has been formulated with 1000% higher (or 10X) the AKBA content generally found in standard Boswellia supplements.
WHAT IS JOINT INFLAMMATION?
In joint inflammatory conditions, the inflammatory response is influenced by activity of certain enzymes that catalyze the formation of Prostaglandin series -2 (PG-2) which has pro-inflammatory effect at the site of joint.
The inflammation may be of such a nature and of such severity that if not checked, it may destroy the joint cartilage and underlying bone, causing irreparable damage.
HOW IS Vitrovea® MEGACURC® DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BONE HEALTH SUPPLEMENTS?
MEGACURC® represents a quantum leap in joint health supplementation. While conventional joint products rely largely on Glucosamine and chondroitin to solve joint problems, Neucorp® researches kept both of these ingredients out of the MEGACURC formula, owing to their non- performance in real world users as gathered over several metastudies.
Each serving of MEGACURC® provides a full dose of 95% Curcuminoids, highest strength Bosewella Extract (30% AKBA) and 3X (Triple Strength) EPA Fish Oil Omega-3s for targeted joint health.
DO I NEED TO CONSUME FISH OIL SEPARATELY IF I’M USING MEGACURC®?
Vitrovea® MEGACURC® already includes triple strength fish oil in its formula. You can avoid taking Fish Oil supplements separately if using MEGACURC®. However, should you wish to add higher quantities of Fish Oils to your diet, you can safely go ahead.
HOW IS CURCUMIN BENEFICIAL IN JOINT HEALTH?
Curcuminoids are natural polyphenols with strong antioxidant capacity and may thus be helpful in the treatment of osteoarthritis. A randomized controlled trial observed that short-term supplementation with Curcuminoids attenuates systemic oxidative stress in patients with osteoarthritis. A preliminary intervention trial that compared Curcumin with a (NSAID) in rheumatoid arthritis patients found improvements in morning stiffness, walking time, and joint swelling after two weeks of Curcumin supplementation.
